The PA Civil War exhibit music is a unique composition consisting of 5 separate pieces of music, each one intended to support one of the 5 small exhibit stations that reside within the entire exhibit space. Though each mini-exhibit has its own musical identity, when heard together they create a collective musical composition as well. My objective was to arrange and produce an original composition that could be split into 5 mono channels each accompanied by a film intended to convey different emotive qualities. My objectives were to compose the music for period instruments in an authentic manor, produce a score and parts, hire musicians, oversee the live recording sessions, mix & format the 5 channel composition, and consult with the installation of the exhibit.
